Styling Like Your Favorite Artist

Styling outfits doesn’t have to be difficult when you have inspiration from your favorite artists! Artists usually have distinctive personal styles since they work to develop their brand with their designers, so with a solid foundation of styling choices from your favorite artists, you can never miss them!
Highlighting Tyler the Creator’s style specifically, there are a few things to note. Tyler has a streetwear brand he established in 2011 called Golf Wang, and he’s still releasing new lines adjacent to the brand in 2022 (looking at Golf Le Fleur*). The styles he features on the Golf Wang website are androgynous and colorful in his typical styling manner, and he mainly features male models in his clothing. The pieces he styles, typical for streetwear, hang loose on the frame and favor blush colors for a more springtime feel.
Every season Tyler releases new lines, and his summer 2022 line is highly anticipated. Last winter’s lookbook featured bomber-cut jackets, shiny puffers, zip-front jackets, and of course his classic printed button-down short-sleeve collared shirt.

Tyler’s style remains fairly consistent, and he has a classic look that can easily be replicated. Shown above, Tyler can be seen sporting a short-sleeved collared shirt, a sweater vest, straight-leg pants, and loafers with white tube socks. Easy style to thrift or pull from your closet! Tyler often switches between the bowler cap seen above, a baseball cap with a graphic, and an ushanka.
Tyler has also been sporting varsity jackets for a few seasons, and varsity jackets have become all the rage this winter season specifically. His style has always remained in the streetwear realm and coming out of covid with comfort on the forefront of everyone’s minds, streetwear has soared.

Considering this look, the model is sporting a bucket hat, chunky necklaces (which I would personally pair with chunky rings), an oversized t-shirt and flannel, wide-leg pants, and Air Forces.
