Finals Fashion - A Villanovan’s Guide

In the midst of finals season and with chilly, rainy weather, most Villanovans feel discouraged to dress. But with this guide to the season, there’s no need to fret!
Sweatshirts
In many a student’s BeReals, they can be seen sporting comfy clothing, especially sweatshirts. Some of our favorites are from the Essentials Collection, sweatshirts from Fear of God. The Los Angeles-based brand is quite popular on campus, most students opting for light neutrals to layer under a coat or puffer vest.
Shameless plug, Business of Fashion sweatshirts! We recently completed an order including a black minimalist sweatshirt and a Madhappy-inspired style that we love. We’ve seen some members rocking these this week!
Villanovans have school spirit through and through, especially during finals season. Lots of Villanovans favor school sweatshirts during this busy time, as the university shop sells comfortable and cute options for all.
Another popular option has been Greek merch. Some Villanovans choose to be in Greek life, and can typically be seen roaming Bartley sporting these sweatshirts.
The last but certainly not least of our faves are Carhartt sweatshirts. This comfy brand came back in style in recent years, and we could not be happier!

Sweatpants and Leggings and Joggers!
Villanovans tend to pair their sweatshirts with sweatpants, leggings, or joggers working on final papers or cram studying.
In sweatpants, we’ve seen sorority merch this semester, destination sweats, nike sweats, and many more. Villanovans tend to color match their sets, and favor dressier-looking pairs for a comfy and functional look.
Many students elevate their sweatshirts with a legging, a comfy yet nicer option to sweats. Some students sport these to Davis or in studies. Flared leggings and yoga pants have been taking athleisure by storm, with brands like Aerie and Alo Yoga dominating the Villanovan’s wardrobe.
Finally, men and women alike tend to appreciate a jogger. A tapered ankle pairs nicely with running sneakers, a sweatshirt, and even baseball hats.

Sneakers and Slippers
An outfit typically comes together with a shoe choice, and for finals we’re here to provide. Villanovans mainly sport sneakers, whether Nikes or platform Converse, to study, or sometimes Ugg slippers for a comfier look. As a sophomore, I mostly frequent Bartley and Conn to eat and study with friends, so these styles tend to be more underclassman-centric.
